The company Kutas is well-known for Hungary's best hunting land. The lowland area is 10,800 hectares of nature. While only 30% of the area is forest, the rest is cultivated crops of corn, canola and other cereal grain.
This huntingarea takescare of the deer and the wild red deer management. Similar hunting areas like this one are Laboe, Mowers, Nagybajom where hunting is mostly successful. The areas where red deerstags are hunted have an average weight of 8 kg! The biggest bull was shot in2007 and its antler measured 13.4 kg.
Hunting:
Deer are hunted from cover or by stalking. During the most intense periods of the rutting, daytime hunting is possible.
Rutting: The ideal period is between 05 September - 25 September.
