ROE DEER HUNT IN PENÉSZLEK

In the eastern part of Hungary, near the Romanian border, stretches the hunting domain of the Penészlek Hunting Association. Just around 60 km away lies the renowned city of Debrecen, and it is a more 300 km from Budapest. Eastern Hungary is celebrated for its robust and trophy-worthy red stags, and Penészlek encompasses an expansive area of over 3200 hectares with a forest coverage of approximately 60%. The flat landscape adorned with cereal fields, scattered groves, vast fallow lands, and verdant meadows provides an almost perfect habitat for roe deer.
