ROE DEER HUNT IN KARCAG APAVÁRA

The hunting ground of the Karcag-Apavár Forestry is located about 170 km away from Budapest, on the outskirts of Karcag, covering an area of 5,010 hectares. It is bordered by the main road No. 4 and the road connecting Hortobágy-Berettyó and Karcag with Bucsa. The landscape is flat and reminiscent of a lowland. The area is populated by wetlands that serve as habitats for roe deer, hares, pheasants, and wild ducks. Pheasants are bred on the hunting grounds.
