ROE DEER HUNT IN HETVEHELY

This extensive region spans over 6,000 hectares in the western part of the Mecsek Mountains. With 83% forest cover, mainly composed of beech, oak, and hornbeam trees, it creates a captivating backdrop. The area is crisscrossed by a network of streams and creeks that accentuate the beauty of this fairly hilly landscape. This natural environment serves as an ideal hunting ground, allowing for hunting of common red deers, roe bucks, and organized wild boar hunts. The most characteristic hunting methods include hunting from one of the region’s 98 high seats and stalking. Additionally, guests have the opportunity to take horse-drawn carriage rides in a specially designed 17-hectare area.
