ROE DEER HUNT IN DÓZSA

The Szanyi Dozsa hunting area covers an area of about 10,000 hectares, with forests covering about 20%. The high roe deer population is the result of high-quality and consistent wildlife management in recent years. The intensive hunting of predators has also had an extremely positive impact on the habitat. The buck season is particularly successful, with 24 of the 120 harvested buck trophies being medal winners. In fact, the largest trophies weigh over an impressive 530 grams! The average trophy size ranges between 330 and 380 grams. In addition to roe deer, the area offers the opportunity to hunt for wild boar and red deer.
