ROE DEER HUNT IN DÉVAVÁNYA

The Dévaványa Hunting Area operates on a 4,955-hectare game territory with small game character. It is open to members and non-members alike. The forest cover is only 5%, and the area is mainly used for agriculture, with 70% being cultivated land and 30% being pastureland, and boasts 60 hectares of wildlife habitat. Natural watercourses are absent, but a portion of the agricultural land is irrigated and intensively watered during dry periods to prevent water scarcity for the wildlife.
