ROE DEER HUNT IN CSANÁDAPÁCA

The Kittenberger Hunting Society manages 4,300 hectares. It is dedicated to small game hunting and has a forest share of 2%. One of their main sources of income is hunts for roe deer. Annually, 35-40 bucks are harvested, along with an additional 70 females. Of the animals harvested each season, half are bucks with trophies weighing 370-400 grams. Typically, 10 bucks weighing 400-500 grams are taken per season, but there is normally also a 500-gram buck each year. The largest buck taken so far weighed 678 grams.
