ROE DEER HUNT IN BÜKK

The Bükk Hunting Area extends in the western part of the Bükk Mountains, covering an area of nearly 21,876 hectares. The elevation of the area ranges between 300 and 900 meters, with forest coverage accounting for about 90%. The predominant tree species in this forest are oak, beech, and hornbeam. The lower regions of the area are sufficiently wooded. The large forest blocks within the hunting area serve as traditional habitats for both native and introduced large game species.
