RED DEER HUNT IN NIMRÓD

The hunting association Zalaegerszegi Nimród is active within the Zala County Association. The hunting grounds extend from the south-southwest of Zalaegerszeg - Bocfölde-Nagylengyel-Gombosszeg-Csonkahegyhát-Teskánd to the southeast of Zalaegerszeg-Botfa, covering a net area of 5,500 hectares within the borders of Csatár-Pölöske-Bucsuszentlászló. In this area, 22% of which is covered forests, the Zala River along with numerous streams and springs provide the necessary water for wildlife management. The primary game species is the red deer, but there are also opportunities to hunt roe deer and wild boar.
