RED DEER HUNT IN KELET-ZSELIC

The Kelet-Zselicer hunting area covers 7,600 hectares in the south of Kaposvár, in Somogy County, in one of the most wildlife-rich areas of Hungary. 65% of the area is covered by forests with unique features. Beech, oak, and linden forests, along with the hilly landscape, make this place extremely pleasant. The so-called "Trophy Stag of Vörösalma" with an antler weight of 14.05 kg and 263.88 international points ranked 10th in the world rankings in 2002. In addition to red deer, wild boar is also actively hunted, mainly through driven hunts and stands. The hunting area includes a 180-hectare game field and a 200-hectare wild boar garden.
