MOUFLON HUNT IN VISEGRÁD

The hunting area of Visegrád, spanning 5,900 hectares, is situated in the northwestern corner of Pest County in the Danube Bend, along the right bank of the Danube River and crowned by the Visegrád Mountains. With 77% forest cover, the woods consist of beech, hornbeam, oak, and sessile oak trees. The region's hilly terrain creates a rugged landscape with some easily accessible areas. The area therefore presents a demanding hunting challenge, requiring good physical condition. Within the mountain layers of the range, red deer, mouflon, and wild boar can be hunted. Various hunting techniques, such as individual or group hunting, hunting with teams, stalking, stand hunting, decoy hunting, driven hunts, as well as high game and organized drives, can be practiced here.
