FALLOW DEER HUNT IN LÓNYA

The Lónya hunting area is managed by the Fehérgyarmat Forestry Administration and is located in the triangle between the Tisza River and the Bereg Mountains, including the forested areas of Lónya-Mátyus-Tiszakerecseny and their immediate surroundings. The reputation of this hunting ground is based on the preservation of the Carpathian red deer population, hunting of old boars in the floodplain, and one of the best snipe hunting opportunities in the country. In addition to the main species, the red deer, the fallow deer population is also significant.
